Performance and Driving Experience

The 2025 Nissan ARIYA and 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV offer stunning all-electric SUV performance, but are directed toward different driving styles. The ARIYA is available with a variety of powertrains, which include a single-motor front-wheel drive that delivers 214 horsepower and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive e-4ORCE variant that’s good for 389 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The quicker version will take you from 0 to 60 mph in roughly 4.8 seconds, all with a composed, refined ride that’s great for everyday San Angelo driving.

The Blazer EV utilizes GM’s Ultium architecture for improved performance. The range-topping SS trim can achieve 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque with a 0 to 60 mph time of less than 4 seconds. The Blazer EV delivers a sportier and more engaging drive in terms of horsepower than the ARIYA’s more relaxed demeanor.

Regarding range, the ARIYA’s Evolve+ trim gets up to 289 miles on a full charge, with lower range configurations getting between 216 and 272 miles, depending on battery size and drivetrain. ARIYA trims with a 63 kWh battery can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 35 minutes with Level 3 charging, while models with 87 kWh batteries can charge to 80% in as few as 40 minutes.

The Blazer EV offers up to 303 miles in the SS all-wheel-drive version, with other trims offering slightly less, and can add around 78 miles of range in 10 minutes on a suitable 190 kW charger.

The ARIYA offers a composed, quiet ride with comfortable dynamics thanks to its multilink rear suspension and balanced chassis. The Blazer EV is sportier, with sharper steering and more feedback and control from its firmer suspension, especially in the SS trim, which is more suited for twisty roads.

The ARIYA focuses on comfort and efficiency, while the Blazer EV is about speed, accelerated performance, and sportier dynamics. Which vehicle you prefer depends on whether you are better suited to a comfortable commuting vehicle or an exciting performer.

Interior Comfort and Technology
